The journey began in the early ’80s, immersed in rap, 80’s groove, Funk, and the first wave of house music. Like many at the time, I recorded everything I could get my hands on, wearing out cassette tapes from constant playback. In the ’90s, I started DJing with vinyl—limited gear, but a deep and diverse collection. Raved at the climax of the underground scene in the 90’s. Since 1999, I’ve been an avid digital music collector. I began playing gigs around Toronto in the 2000s and continued until the pandemic hit. These days, I’m a regular on OOSR.
